A consistent scholar throughout his education, Paul Aquino placed 16th in the 1963 Bar Examination in the Philippineswhere he obtained his Master of Laws and Doctor of Civil Laws with honors.While in the Philippines, Atty. Aquino's clients included various multinational corporations such as Shell, Caltex, Esso, Mobil and Bataan Refining Corporation.During the martial law years, he served as Trial Counsel in Military Commission No. 2, receiving the rank of Captain.He was voted No. 1 Municipal Councilor in Taal, Batangas while serving as Municipal Attorney. After immigrating to the United Statesin 1976, Atty. Aquino dedicated himself to the practice of law helping the Filipino and other immigrant communities.Throughout his decades of legal practice, Atty.
